The Tax Reports section gives the admin a detailed breakdown of tax-related financial data for each order. This includes the admin’s commission, merchant earnings, and applicable tax amounts—ensuring financial transparency and simplified audit processes.

Each entry in the Tax Reports includes:

  • Order Number
  • Taxable Amount (Order level)
  • Tax Amount (Order level)
  • Total Order Amount
  • Taxable Amount (Admin’s Commission)
  • Tax Amount (Admin’s Commission)
  • Total Admin Commission
  • Restaurant Name

  • Order Tax Amount refers to the tax charged on the total customer order.
  • Commission Tax Amount refers to the tax applied to the commission earned by the admin from the merchant.

In the standard flow, filtering options are not shown in the video, but they can be added in the future. For now, reports are paginated and can be browsed using page numbers.

By default, the system displays 10 records per page. To view additional records, use the pagination controls at the bottom of the report.

Currently, export functionality is not shown in the demonstration. If required, this feature can be implemented so that tax reports can be downloaded in Excel or CSV format for compliance and accounting.

Yes. The Total Amount reflects the complete order value including tax. Similarly, the Total Admin Commission reflects commission including its applicable tax.

The Tax Reports are updated in real time as soon as new orders are completed and commission is recorded, ensuring that the admin has access to the latest tax information.

Including the restaurant name helps the admin easily identify which merchant the order was placed with and track tax and commission per restaurant for auditing or settlement purposes.

Yes. The Tax Reports are structured to support GST, VAT, or local tax filings. All taxable values, amounts, and commission-related taxes are listed per order, making it easy for finance teams or auditors to extract necessary data.
