Subscription

The Subscription section in the QuickOrders admin panel helps you manage user and merchant subscription plans with precision and ease.

At the top, you will find two main tabs:

  • User
  • Merchant

Each tab allows you to manage and view subscriptions independently for end-users and registered merchants.

On the right side of both tabs, you’ll find three essential action tools:

  1. Select Duration Dropdown – Filter by Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly subscriptions.
  2. Search Bar – Quickly search any subscription plan by keyword.
  3. Add Button – Opens a detailed form popup to create a new subscription plan.

+ Add Subscription Plan
When you click the Add button under the User tab, a form pop-up appears, allowing you to input detailed subscription settings. This includes:

  • Upload Image (under 2MB)
  • Name & Price
  • Duration (Monthly, etc.)
  • Recommended, (yes/no)
  • Module Description
  • Minimum Order Price
  • Free Delivery(yes/no)

Hit the submit button

When you click the Add button under the Merchant tab, a form pop-up appears, allowing you to input detailed subscription settings. This includes:

  • Upload Image (under 2MB)
  • Name & Price
  • Duration (Monthly, etc.)
  • Recommended,(yes/no) This toggle allows the admin to highlight a particular subscription plan as the “Recommended” or “Top Pick” for merchants.
  • Subscription Implication Type(override existing subscription, add up to the existing subscription, queue new subscription)
  • Subscription Tier(free/paid)
  • Visible(yes/no)This setting decides whether the plan is publicly shown to merchants in their subscription listing.

If set to ‘Yes’: The subscription plan will be visible to merchants under the “Subscription” tab in their dashboard.

If set to ‘No’: The plan is hidden from the merchant panel.

Select the store and enter the description

Advanced Settings:

  • Total Orders, Order Alert Limit
  • Per Order Cost & Commission
  • Alert Limit Messages

Once completed, hit Submit to save the new plan.

Inside both User and Merchant sections, you’ll see two subtabs:

1. Plans
This is where all the current subscription plans are listed. The table columns include:

  • Image
  • Name
  • Created Date
  • Period (e.g., INR 100 / Monthly)
  • Active Users / Inactive Users
  • Status (Active/Inactive)
  • Action (View/Edit/Delete)

2. History
This tab shows past subscriptions with a detailed record of:

  • User Details
  • Start Date / End Date
  • Payment Method
  • Plan Name
  • Period
  • Amount
  • Status

At the top right corner, you’ll also find the Total Amount Collected, a convenient way to monitor revenue from subscriptions.

FAQ's

The Subscription Module allows the admin to manage and monitor all subscription plans available for both users and merchants, including their creation, status, pricing, visibility, and usage history.

There are two types:

  • User Subscriptions: Plans meant for end users (e.g., customers).
  • Merchant Subscriptions: Plans offered to merchants/stores for premium access or platform benefits.

Each plan shows:

  • Name of the plan
  • Image
  • Creation date
  • Duration (monthly, quarterly, etc.
  • Number of active/inactive users
  • Status (active/inactive)
  • Action buttons (view/edit)

To create a new plan:

  • Click Add Subscription
  • Upload an image (mandatory)
  • Enter the subscription name, price, and description
  • Select the duration (monthly, quarterly, etc.)
  • Choose if it’s a recommended plan
  • For merchants, set the subscription implication type and visibility
  • Submit to publish the plan

When a subscription is marked as recommended, it is highlighted on the front-end to encourage users or merchants to choose it.

There are 3 options:

  • Queue as New: New plan activates after current one ends.
  • Overwrite Existing: Current plan ends immediately; new one starts.
  • Add Up: New plan’s value adds to the existing plan.

Yes. During creation/editing of a merchant subscription, you can assign it to specific stores using the Store List field.

Use the History tab under User or Merchant sections to view:

  • Who subscribed
  • Start and end dates
  • Payment method
  • Plan details and current status

Yes. Admins can edit the plan’s name, price, duration, implication type, visibility, and more at any time from the action panel.

The subscription becomes unavailable for new purchases. Existing users with that plan will continue until their current cycle ends.

  • Free: Users/Merchants can access the subscription benefits at no cost
  • Paid: Requires payment during purchase, amount defined by the admin.

The system will not allow you to submit the form. Uploading a valid image file is required for successful submission.

Yes. Use the search bar or filter options to find plans by name, date, type, or other criteria quickly.

Yes. Any changes (edit, activate/deactivate, visibility) are updated and visible instantly on the platform.

Yes, depending on the implication type chosen (e.g., Add Up or Queue), users or merchants can hold multiple active or queued subscriptions.
