Taxi Booking

Here you can manage and monitor all taxi ride reservations from a centralized view. This section displays booking details with clarity and lets you track ride statuses live.

Booking Card View

  • Each booking is displayed as a card with:
  • Booking ID & Type (Scheduled/Instant)
  • Booking Date & Time
  • Customer & Driver Info
  • Pickup & Drop Locations
  • Distance, Fare, and Status (Approved, Cancelled, Fulfilled)

In the top right corner

  • Date Range Filter – View bookings within a selected period
  • Search Bar – Locate specific bookings by keyword
  • Payment Mode: Opt cash/card/wallet

+ Create Booking Feature

At the top left corner Hit the “Create Booking” button

Enter all ride info:

  • Pickup & Drop Off Address
  • Rider Name
  • Email ID
  • Phone No.
  • Scheduled Time or Book Instantly

The Taxi Booking module allows the admin to view, manage, and create taxi bookings on behalf of users. It offers a centralized dashboard to oversee all booking activity across the platform.

The admin can view bookings under three sections:

  • All Bookings: Every booking made on the platform
  • Scheduled Bookings: Bookings set for a future time
  • Cancelled Bookings: Bookings that have been cancelled by the user or driver

Each booking is displayed as a card containing:

  • Pickup and drop-off addresses
  • User and driver names and contact info
  • Start and end time of the trip
  • OTP used for verification
  • Date and time of the booking
  • Booking fare (revenue generated)
  • Payment mode (Cash, Card, Wallet)
  • Booking type (Instant or Scheduled)

Yes. The admin can apply filters based on:

  • Payment Method: Cash, Card, or Wallet
  • Date Range: View bookings within a specific time period Filters help the admin narrow down search results for better management. Admin can also clear all filters with one click.

Yes. The admin can manually create a booking for users who are unable to book via the website or mobile app. This is useful for customers who are experiencing technical difficulties or need assistance.

Here’s the complete flow:

  1. Click on “Create Booking”
  2. Select a User – their name, email, and phone will autofill
  3. Enter the Pickup Address (supported by Google Places API)
  4. Enter the Drop-off Location
  5. The system scans for available drivers nearby
  6. If drivers are available, vehicle types will appear
  7. Admin selects the vehicle type
  8. Optionally add notes for the driver
  9. Click “Create” to confirm the booking

If no drivers are found in the area, the system shows a message:

“No driver found near you. Please try later.”

The admin must wait until a driver becomes available to proceed.

The system checks real-time driver availability and only shows vehicle types associated with online and active drivers in the area of the pickup address.

The OTP (One-Time Password) is used to verify that the correct customer and driver have been matched for the trip. It ensures trip authenticity and safety.

Yes. Each booking card displays the payment mode used (cash, card, wallet) and the total fare charged for that trip.

Yes. The fare amount displayed in each card helps the admin track individual booking revenue. Additionally, filters can be applied to view earnings within specific date ranges.

This module is primarily for viewing and creating bookings. To make changes or handle disputes, a separate booking management or support workflow (if implemented) would be used.

It’s best used on desktop or tablet screens for full functionality.
