Cuisines Types

The Cuisine Types section allows admins to manage the categories of food offered across restaurants. This interface makes it simple to organize, update, and maintain diverse cuisine types.

At the top-right corner, five key functional buttons enhance cuisine management:

  • Search Bar
  • Delete Options
  • Export Button
  • Update Serial No.
  • Add Button

Below that you can see a tabular overview based on image, name, created date, serial number, status (active/inactive). action (edit, delete, copy ID), and reorder.

+Add New Cuisine

Clicking the Add button opens a form where you can:

  • Enter Cuisine Name
  • Enable Brand Slide (toggle switch)
  • Upload Cuisine Image

Hit the Add button to save the new cuisine type.

The Cuisine Types section allows the admin to manage all cuisine categories available on the platform. This includes viewing, adding, editing, reordering, activating/deactivating, deleting, and exporting cuisine types.

Each cuisine entry includes:

  • Serial Number
  • Cuisine Image
  • Cuisine Name (e.g., Chinese, Pudding, etc.)
  • Date of Creation
  • Status Toggle (Active/Inactive)
  • Action Options (Edit, Delete, Copy ID)

To add a new cuisine:

  1. Click the “Add” button.
  2. Enter the cuisine name.
  3. Upload an image.
  4. Choose whether to enable or disable associated brands.
  5. Click “Save” to add it to the system.

Yes, click the edit icon next to any cuisine. You can update:

  • Name
  • Image
  • Brand visibility (enable/disable)
    Make your changes and click “Update,” or click “Cancel” to discard.

Each cuisine has a toggle switch in the list. Simply switch it ON or OFF to make the cuisine visible or hidden from users.

Yes. To change the order in which cuisines appear to users:

  • Click and hold a cuisine item.
  • Drag it to the desired position.
  • Drop it, and the order will be saved automatically.

Yes. Click the trash icon next to the cuisine you want to remove. This will permanently delete it from the platform.

Once deleted, the cuisine will no longer appear in the admin panel or to users on the platform. Deleted items cannot be restored, so proceed with caution.

Yes. Use the search bar to quickly find cuisines by typing keywords like “Indian,” “South Indian,” etc. All matching results will be displayed.

The “Copy ID” button copies the unique identifier of a cuisine to your clipboard. This is useful for referencing or linking in other parts of the system.

Yes. Click the “Export” button to download the complete list of cuisine types as a file to your local system for documentation or reporting.

Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate to other pages and view more cuisine types.

Most changes like reordering and toggling status are saved automatically. For edits and new entries, you must click “Save” or “Update” to confirm the changes.

Users will see the cuisines in the same order as arranged in the admin panel. For example: Chinese, then Pudding, then Cake, and so on.

Yes. When adding or editing a cuisine, you can enable or disable associated brands using a toggle. This helps control which brands are shown under each cuisine category.
