FAQ's

The status configuration section allows the admin to define, customize, and manage the different booking or order statuses that will be visible to users. This keeps users informed about the progress of their orders in real time.

For example, in the laundry module, the admin can configure statuses like:

  • Pending
  • Accepted
  • Order in kitchen
  • Ready to pick up
  • Picked
  • Ongoing
  • Completed before ongoing
  • Canceled

These statuses appear to users on their app or web interface.

For each status, the admin can:

  • Set a custom label
  • Define a title that users will see
  • Add a specific notification message
  • Choose whether an email update should be sent to the user
  • Configure cancellation charges and the allowed cancellation time, if applicable

Yes. The admin can toggle any status on or off. If toggled off, the status will not appear to users. If toggled on, users will see it, along with its label, title, and notification settings.

The admin can choose whether users should receive an email notification whenever an order reaches a particular status. This helps keep users updated through multiple channels.

For any status where cancellation might apply, the admin can:

  • Set a cancellation charge amount
  • Define the cancellation time window (e.g., allow cancellation only within a certain period)

This ensures clear rules for users and helps prevent last-minute cancellations.

Yes. Once the admin saves changes, the updated status configuration, labels, and notifications are applied immediately and become visible to users.

It creates transparency for users, improves communication, and lets the admin tailor the order flow to fit different services, like laundry, food orders, or quick delivery. It also ensures users always know the exact stage of their order.
