FAQ's

The Subscription Plan module allows the admin to create, manage, and control subscription plans for both users and merchants. It helps generate recurring revenue, offer special benefits, and track subscription activity on the platform.

Yes. The admin can create and manage subscription plans independently for users and for merchants. Each has its own form, fields, and business logic.

When creating a user subscription plan, the admin must provide:

  • Plan name
  • Price
  • Description
  • Duration (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, etc.)
  • Minimum order price
  • Whether it offers free delivery
  • Whether to recommend/promote the plan
  • A detailed secondary description
  • Image for the plan

This highlights the subscription plan so it appears more prominently in the list, helping it stand out for users or merchants.

Yes. After creation, the admin can make the plan active or block/inactive at any time from the management panel.

It shows which users have purchased the plan, the total amount they have paid, and helps track user engagement over time.

Merchant plans include:

  • Override existing subscription: cancels current plan and replaces it
  • Add up to existing subscription: adds new credits to the existing plan
  • Queue new subscription: activates the new plan after the current one expires

In addition to plan name, price, and duration, the admin must also provide:

  • Subscription tier (paid or free)
  • Visibility (show/hide the plan on the platform)
  • Store list (select specific stores the plan applies to)
  • Total number of orders allowed
  • Order alert limit (how many remaining orders should trigger an alert)
  • Per order cost
  • Per order commission for the merchant
  • Notification title and message for the alert
  • Image for the plan

The admin can limit which stores (merchants) can buy a specific subscription plan. They can select individual stores or allow the plan to be available for all.

When the number of remaining orders in the plan reaches the alert limit (e.g., only 5 left), a notification is automatically sent to the merchant, reminding them to renew or top-up.

Yes. The admin can edit plan details, update images, change status, or remove plans from the system anytime.

The plan appears in the user or merchant subscription list on the platform, becomes available for purchase, and its status and performance can be tracked by the admin.
