The Discount feature enables admins to create, manage, and track promotional coupons to drive user engagement and boost orders.

Coupon Table Breakdown

Upon accessing the Discount section, administrators are presented with a detailed list of existing coupons, each displaying:

  • Coupon Image & Name
  • Coupon Code: A unique code users must enter to redeem the discount
  • User Count: Number of users who have successfully used the coupon
  • Discount Tab: Type (percentage/fixed) and value of the discount
  • Description: A short note or label added during coupon creation
  • Start & End Date: Validity period of the coupon
  • Status: Active or Blocked (toggleable)
  • Action Tab: Options to Edit or Delete the coupon

Search and Add

Located at the top right corner:

  • Search Bar: Find specific coupons by entering relevant codes
  • Add Coupon button

  1. Initiate Addition: Click on the ‘Add Coupon’ button
  2. Enter Coupon Details:
    • Banner: Upload an image representing the coupon
    • Title: Provide a name for the coupon
    • Code: Set a unique code that users will apply
    • Discount Type: Flat / Percentage
    • Discount Value: Amount/percentage to be discounted
    • Per Day Limit: Maximum uses per user per day
    • Use Limit: Max number of total uses allowed
    • Maximum Amount to Apply
    • Validity Period: Set the start and end dates
    • Select Type
    • Deduction Form
    • Select Items
    • Description: Add details about the offer
    • Private Coupon: Option to mark the coupon as private
  3. Save Coupon: Click on the ‘Add’ button to finalize and create the coupon

The Discount section allows the admin to create, edit, manage, and monitor Coupons and Deals. These tools help in running promotional campaigns, offering discounts to users, and increasing service provider visibility.

  • Coupons are code-based discounts that users apply manually during checkout.
  • Deals are platform-wide offers that are visible to users as time-bound promotions. They don’t require users to enter a code.

Each coupon displays:

  • Image
  • Coupon Name
  • Coupon Code
  • User Count (number of users who used it)
  • Discount Value
  • Description
  • Start & End Date
  • Status (Active/Inactive)
  • Edit/Delete Action Buttons

To add a new coupon, the admin must:

  1. Enter the coupon title and code.
  2. Choose the discount type (flat/percentage).
  3. Enter discount percentage or flat value.
  4. Define the maximum discount amount.
  5. Set per-day and total usage limits.
  6. Set a minimum purchase value to apply the coupon.
  7. Select a validity period (start & end date).
  8. Choose applicable categories or subcategories.
  9. Decide who bears the discount – Admin or Merchant.
  10. Write a brief description.
  11. Upload a banner image.
  12. Optionally mark it as a Private Coupon (not publicly listed but usable if the code is known).
  13. Click Add to save the coupon.

A private coupon is not shown in the user’s coupon listing. However, if the user manually enters the correct coupon code, it will be accepted. This is ideal for targeted offers to select users.

The admin can:

  • Click the Edit button next to the coupon.
  • Modify any fields such as discount value, usage limits, or validity.
  • Use the status toggle to activate/deactivate the coupon without deleting it.

To create a deal, the admin must:

  1. Enter the deal title and code.
  2. Choose the discount type (flat/percentage).
  3. Define the discount amount.
  4. Set the validity period (start & end dates).
  5. Choose whether it applies to products or categories.
  6. Select which party bears the discount (Admin or Merchant).
  7. Choose specific products or categories.
  8. Add a description.
  9. Upload a banner image.
  10. Click Add to activate the deal.

Yes, the admin can:

  • Edit the deal’s values and applicable products/categories.
  • Reorder deals to change their listing priority on the user interface.
  • Activate or deactivate them anytime based on business needs.

Deals can be created for specific services, providers, or products to increase visibility and encourage user purchases within a limited time window, boosting engagement and revenue.

Once the end date is passed:

  • The status automatically changes to inactive.
  • It is no longer applicable by users.
  • The admin can either edit the validity to extend it or deactivate/delete the offer.

Yes, the User Count column shows the number of redemptions. For detailed user tracking, the admin can integrate reporting tools or access transaction logs (if implemented in the backend).

  • Use Coupons for referral codes, first-time user offers, or selective user rewards.
  • Use Deals for flash sales, seasonal promotions, or platform-wide discounts.
