FAQ's

The Discount Management module allows the admin to create, edit, activate, deactivate, and monitor coupons that users can apply while booking services on the platform.

Each coupon entry displays:

  • Coupon Name
  • Coupon Code
  • Number of Users who’ve used it
  • Discount Value
  • Description
  • Start Date and End Date
  • Active/Inactive Status
  • Edit Option

Use the status toggle button next to each coupon entry. Turning it on activates the coupon; turning it off deactivates it immediately.

Yes. Click the Edit icon beside the coupon. You can edit:

  • Coupon Name
  • Coupon Code
  • Validity Dates
  • Description

However, some fields like discount value, usage limits, or type may be locked depending on the system rules once a coupon is in use.

Click the “Add Coupon” button and fill in the following:

  • Name & Code
  • Discount Type: Flat / Percentage
  • Discount Value
  • Max Discount Amount (if any)
  • Daily Usage Limit per User
  • Total Usage Limit
  • Minimum Order Amount Required
  • Valid From and To Dates
  • Description
  • Public or Private setting

Click “Add” to publish the new coupon.

  • Flat applies a fixed discount (e.g., ₹100 off).
  • Percentage applies a variable discount based on the order amount (e.g., 20% off up to a max limit).

It sets a cap on the discount value for percentage-based coupons.
E.g., 50% off with ₹200 max discount means even if 50% of the order is ₹500, only ₹200 will be discounted.

  • Per Day Limit: Number of times a user can use the coupon in one day.
  • Use Limit: Total number of times a user can use the coupon over its lifetime.

This sets the minimum cart value required for a coupon to be applicable.
E.g., a ₹150 minimum means the coupon won’t apply to orders below that value.

Private coupons are not shown to users in the platform’s coupon list.
However, users can manually enter the coupon code during checkout to apply it—ideal for personalized or restricted campaigns.

Yes. Private coupons function like regular coupons but are hidden from public lists.
If the user knows the code, they can apply it during checkout manually.

Use the search bar at the top of the Discount Management section. You can search by coupon name or code.

While individual user targeting isn’t set during coupon creation, you can restrict usage with use limits, per-day limits, and minimum cart values.

Yes. You can schedule coupons by setting a future Start Date and an End Date. The coupon will only be active within the defined range.

Yes. Once the End Date passes, the system automatically marks the coupon as expired, and it will no longer be valid for bookings.
